HIDA is the Oval Grip (Koban Gata Shinai) Madake Shinai from E-BOGU.COM. It has a similar balance as our Dobari Shinais, but the Tsuka (handle) area is shaved down to an oval shape. The balance makes the Shinai feeel very light. “The Oval Handle makes the Kenshis hold the Shinai properly, using the correct Hasuji. Specially for strikes to the Do and Yoko Men, it improves your Kendo.
